Welcome to Canadian Child Magazine!

In our Winter 2011 issue, we look the importance of language acquisition and how parents and educators can communicate with babies, toddlers and preschooler through a variety of communication strategies.

Winter means long days, school break and with it, bored children. We offer tips on how to combat winter boredom by getting kids involved in activities around the house and in doing so, having wonderful family time.

Winter Lesson Plans: for educators, we have included 2 winter lesson plans to do with a group of children. Sometimes we can lose our creative process. The lesson plans are designed to help get your creative juices flowing again.
