Welcome to Canadian Child Magazine!

In our Spring 2012 issue, we are fortunate to have Dr. Robert W. Sears discuss the current vaccine schedule as well as an alternative schedule for parents. If you are unsure about immunizing your child, Dr. Sears also offers suggestions on delaying certain vaccines and when your child should receive them. For more information, see the entire text of The Vaccine Book 2011.

Be sure to check out the article by Jean Nicol, The Vaccine Controversy. We have included a summary schedule of immunizations for infancy/early childhood as well as for older children.

Spring is on its way, and with that, childhood immunizations. We offer tips on how to help children overcome their fear of needles.

Spring Lesson Plans: for educators, we have included 2 spring lesson plans to do with a group of children. We can always use fresh ideas when it comes to planning fun activities for children. We hope we have inspired you to get creative.

Included is a short interview with Sylvie C.  Sylvie offers insight as a parent on vaccines.
